Preparing a Customer Statement Report

 

CUSTOMER STATEMENTS CAN BE PREPARED USING ANY DATE THE USER WISHES - THIS CAN BE A HISTORICAL OR FUTURE DATE.
 
 
TO GENERATE THE STATEMENTS GO TO SALES > CUSTOMER STATEMENTS:
 
 

Date 

Enter the desired statement date that you require the statements processed to. All transactions up to and including this date will be included in the statement balance.

 
 Prepare
 
Click "Prepare" to generate the Customer listing and the closing balances for each Customer as at that date.
 
 
Contact Name
 
The contact name entered at "Add/Amend Customer" screen will display on the report and is useful for any follow up required such as Credit Control, Customer query follow ups etc.
 
 
Telephone Number
 

The telephone number as at "Add/Amend Customer" screen will display on the report and is useful for any follow up required such as Credit Control, Customer query follow ups etc.

 
 Balance
 
The total balance owed by the Customer as at the entered balance date is displayed in the balance column by Customer.
 
 
Aging
 
The total balance is aged across the 3 months plus older prior to the user entered report date.  This indicates to the age of the debt.
 
 
Transaction History
 

To view the history of transactions making up each individual Customer balance simply double click on the Customer name to view the transactions up to the balance date for that Customer.

 
 Statements
 
Click on the "Statement" button to convert the customer listing into the printable statements for sending to the individual Customers.
