Restoring a Back Up

 

IT IS ADVISABLE TO TAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR COMPANY FILES ON A REGULAR BASIS, TO AN EXTERNAL DRIVE.
 
 
THE BACK UP IS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE IN CASE ANY DAMAGE OCCURS TO YOUR COMPUTER OR TO RESTORE THE COMPANY TO A PREVIOUS POSITION PRIOR TO THE ENTRY OF SUBSEQUENT TRANSACTIONS.
 
 
TO RESTORE A BACK UP PREVIOUSLY TAKEN:
 
 

FILE > RESTORE COMPANY

 
 
  • Select the location of the back up you are restoring
  • The company named backup will appear in the third box
  • Restore - click Restore to complete the restoration of the backup.
