Who we are

Founded in 1992, Thesaurus Software is an Irish company based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. With over 25 years’ industry experience we are committed to providing easy-to-use, accessible and cutting edge software solutions, supported by excellent customer service to SMEs across Ireland and the UK.

Today, we create and support a range of innovative software products, including payroll, book-keeping and HR solutions. Our products are; Thesaurus Payroll Manager, Thesaurus Accounts, BrightPay, BrightPay for Mac, BrightPay Connect and Bright Contracts.

Having started out with just two staff members we have grown considerably. Currently we have 25 staff in the Thesaurus family servicing over 100,000 employers (and counting) across Ireland and the UK.

We are a passionate team who thrive on the excitement and challenge of continuous growth, improvement and development. Our plans for the future are big!
