Opportunity:
Fast growing P.E backed technology business looking for a strong finance professional to support growth and increase profitability by providing insights to support financial decision making and value creation.
This role represents an excellent opportunity to contribute and influence commercial decisions in fast paced, high growth environment.
Assist the CFO in support for the financial operations, accounting and reporting, in Ireland and UK. Partner with the business to add value and, to support continued expansion to new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of the financial month-end close including monthly management accounts file with balance sheet control and reconciliation.
- Reporting & Compliance – ensuring that financial control is being operated to the highest standards, management of the completion of all aspects of statutory audit and compliance issues, managing the production of the financial statements and year-end reporting in line with agreed reporting timeframes, along with all aspects of taxation compliance.
- Be hands-on working on maintaining a strong controls environment, assessing weaknesses in controls or in overall process and implementing improvements where required.
- Preparing tax and other statistical returns. Research accounting and tax guidance, and assisting with the year-end financial statement audit.
- Oversight of the Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable activities to provide guidance and cover where needed.
- Working with IT to enhance the finance related IT infrastructure.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the existing business and expansion to new markets.
Requirements for this Role
Ideal candidate will have the following background:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ post qualification experience.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Excellent organisational skills and experience delivering to reporting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgement making and logical decision maker
- Enthusiastic and positive with a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic finance team
Salary: €60,000 to €70,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time Permanent Contract
