Opportunity:
Fast growing P.E backed technology business seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis.
This role is responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable team and issuing of invoices to collecting and processing of receipts and monitoring of debtor balances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit control for two Irish companies, ensuring all payments are collected on time.
- Dealing directly with customer queries to include engaging with customers to resolve invoice discrepancies when required.
- Ensuring timely cash collection and debt reduction.
- Monitor high or low risk customer accounts to reduce bad debt exposure.
- Establish and build relationships with customers ensuring smooth running of client accounts.
- Raise invoices / credit notes on a timely basis.
- Working continuously to improve the sales and receipts process and identify areas where efficiencies can be achieved.
- Regular account reviews, identifying credit limits /incentives / queries.
Skills and Experience:
- Accounts receivable experience.
- Accounts qualification would be a distinct advantage
- Some knowledge of credit control processes an advantage.
- Proficiency in integrated accounts packages and Microsoft applications (particularly a high competency in Excel).
- Excellent numeric, analytical skills and attentiveness to detail.
