The opportunity
The IT Administrator will work as part of the IT Support Team to provide quality desktop support to our office based employees and remote employees. Occasionally, support will be provided to other locations including Tallaght, India and other applicable locations. As an IT Administrator, you will interface with employees, providing remote and desk side IT support. You will also implement IT and security policies. The role will give future exposure to cyber security and software development.
More on the role
You will be responsible for the administration and management of all core business systems, networks, storage and security.
- Provide IT Support (both in person and remotely) for all staff for a very wide array of IT, AV.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and outside representatives
- Manage Assets Register
- User Management of all systems.
- Maintain up to date patching of all laptops and related software
- Manage and support audio visual equipment
- Propose solutions to systems and process issues to improve workflows and efficiencies
- Hardware and Software upgrading
- Manage Software and Hardware Asset inventory
- Perform other duties as defined by the IT Manager
The Person
This role would suit an individual with an excellent work ethic who is looking to develop a successful career in Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent
- Ability to perform effectively in a team oriented environment
- Communicate effectively with a diverse group of users, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain high quality work and manage multiple critical projects
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Strong understanding of Office 365 and supporting apps e.g. MS Teams
- Advanced technical installation and troubleshooting experience
- Advanced knowledge of inTune and Azure Resources and Services
- Familiar with Microsoft and Apple technologies
- Familiar with management of WIFI and firewall technologies

Location
Initially this role will be 100% office based, to accommodate training and induction. On completion of probation, we will support hybrid working. Our brand new office is based in Duleek, Co. Meath.
